The best of the First Coast is the beaches and State Parks. The locals love the beaches and the few informed tourists who know the spots while driving A1A or rent a house in South Ponte Vedra. The only spot you want to avoid between Fernandina and Crescent Beach is St. Augustine, to crowded, it’s for tourists.
